Drop-in Painters (DIP) happens twice a month at the Community Hall. It is an opportunity to learn, share and socialize with other island art enthusiasts. DIP is not just painters… we have collage artists, crafty people, sketchers, etc, join the sessions. Mark your calendar for the first and third Thursday of each month from 11:30 to 2:00. These are scheduled to match Soup To Go, so you might decide to get lunch to eat while you are artsy.
§ February 20 - Island painter artist Marietta Harrigan, will bring some of her amazing artwork and chat about “how understanding design elements can allow us to place them for impact.”
§ March 6 – Bring your art project
§ March 20 – “Capturing Mushrooms on Paper” is an introduction to watercolor painting with Kathy Whitman. Materials provided to those who do not have watercolor supplies.
