Island Art Camp with Sue Roberts

A unique art experience you won’t want to miss! Spend five fun-filled days making art in an artist’s studio on Guemes Island. Take a 7 minute adult chaperoned ferry ride on the Guemes ferry and a short walk to an artist’s studio. Explore a variety of mediums in an inspiring, creative atmosphere. Class time is spent not only in the studio, but outdoors on the nearby beach. Classes are small and geared towards each individuals skill level.

Each one week session is M-F, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Town students take the 9:15am ferry and return on the 2:30pm ferry.

Cost: $315.00 each week long session, which includes all art materials and round trip chaperoned ferry transportation.

Session 2 (SOLD OUT): July 11-15 (Ages 6-9)
Session 3: July 18-22 (Ages 10-15)

Professional teaching artists will inspire your child to look closely at the world around them, experiment with materials, try new techniques, while developing his/her motor skills. Sessions are taught by Sue Roberts, Janice Veal and other guest artists. All of the sessions other than session 4 and 5 offer the same program, though each week some of our projects may vary slightly to accommodate returning students. Session 4 and 5 will focus on all clay projects.
