ABOUT THE ARTIST

Clyde Petersen is a Northwest artist, working in film, animation, music, installation and fabulous spectacle.

 

They are the director of Torrey Pines, an autobiographical stop-motion animated feature film.

 

Their award-winning work has been featured in museums, galleries, DIY spaces and film festivals around the world.

 

In 2019, Clyde founded The Fellow Ship Artist Residency, a paid residency for queer and BIPOC artists to spend a week on Guemes Island in the Salish Sea. 

 

His new film Even Hell Has Its Heroes, a documentary about the legendary Seattle band Earth, shot entirely on Super8 film, is premiering in 2023.
