Sue Roberts

Meet the Instructor

Sue Roberts expresses a lifelong passion for creating with her hands, initially aspiring to be a cartoonist and animator. However, a ceramics class in college shifted her focus to three-dimensional art. After earning a BFA in ceramic sculpture, she furthered her skills in life modeling, bronze casting, and various materials. As a self-employed artist, Sue built a career through commissions and exhibitions, eventually settling in the Pacific Northwest. In 1996, she established Tower Arts Studio on Guemes Island, offering classes and workshops to connect with the local artistic community, expressing gratitude for being part of such a creative environment.
