Art for Sale!

“Art for Sale” is a December event to help with holiday gift purchasing choices and to support Guemes Island artists. There are two parts to this first annual event:

VIRTUAL sales are being offered by many artists found on www.guemesislandart.org where you can purchase directly from a Guemes Island artist and/or coordinate for on-island pick up. Some artists offer mailing service to make gift giving even easier.

STUDIO TOUR was a huge success this year! Thank you to everyone who participated and supported our Guemes Island artists.

With “Art for Sale”, unique original art is available. Select from delicate jewelry, clay creations, beautiful hand-turned wooden bowls, blown glass, note cards, original paintings, affordable prints, clothing and more! Artists and art studios will be identified on December 1 and run for the full month.

“Purchases help to keep art alive. The work of local artists and makers is not stuck on a dock in a shipping container. This is the perfect opportunity to shop local. Help local artists live their dream.”
